So, I'm done with my new application Papers and its very Vintage Style! Therefore I worked on my old Photo (bevore I have Time to do some new) to let it look like old fashioned! I wanted something like that... or that. I do have such Photos from my family, and I think it looks really cool. So, thats the result, what do you think?

Lemon Cookies

Als ich vor nicht all zu langer Zeit wegen Keksbildern die ich für ein Layout brauchte durchs Web gestöbert hab, ist mir ein Rezept für Zitronen Kekse (bzw da es ein amerikanisches Rezept war Lemon Cookies) unter die Äuglein gekommen. Die Bilder dazu sahen sowas von lecker (*sabber aufwisch*) aus, dass ich mir dachte, das probierst du mal aus! Vor allem, weil neben Kirschen ja Zitronen meine Lieblingsgeschmacksrichtung sind/ist, eine Rechnng, die eigentlich immer aufgeht.... ausser bei Tic Tacs, das schmeckt IMMER scheusslich, wenn Zitrone draufsteht, und ich fall trotzdem immer wieder drauf rein... schmeckt wie Spüli... und zwar billig Spüli!!!!!

Also zurück zu den Keksen, neben der Sprachbarriere war das komplizierteste die Grundzutat zu bekommen.... extra Moist Lemon Cake Mixture. Nach einigem Googeln habe ich herausgefunden, dass es genauer gesagt "Betty Crockers Super Moist Cake Mix - Lemon" ist. (Einfach im USA Import shop zu erwerben). Fix bestellt und ran an das Rezept...

Spasseshalber hier die Übersetzung der von mir (und diversen anderen Versuchskarnikeln) durchprobierten Rezeptur:

Zutaten:
1 Betty Crockers Super Moist Lemon Cake mix
2 Eier
80-85 ml Wallnussöl (oder anderes nach belieben)
2 Esslöffel Zitronenschalen
2 Esslöffel Zitronensaft
1 Teelöffel Zitronenaroma
1 Vanilleschote (Hab ich dazu gegeben, nicht Teil des Originalrezepts, schmeckt bestimmt auch ohne)
RaffinadeZucker
Puderzucker

Der Ofen sollte auf 190° Celsius vorgeheizt werden. Dann Kuchenmix, Eier, Öl, Zitronenschalen, Zitronensaft, Aroma und den Inhalt der Vanilleschote in eine Schüssel geben und das ganze Cremig rühren/mixen. Dann immer kleine Portionen des Teiges zuerst in Zucker wälzen (der sorgt angeblich dafür, dass der Puderzucker hinterher besser haftet) und dann in Puderzucker wälzen. Die Technik is hier der Trick, denn die Mixtur klebt wie Hölle bevor sie mit Zucker bedeckt ist. Dann die einzelnen Stücke auf ein mit Backpapier belegtes Rost legen und in den Ofen schieben. Etwa 6-9 Minuten backen, bzw bis sie einen leichten braunen Touch bekommen. auskühlen, et Voilà!
Saftig, lecker, zitronig. Ich hab mir und dem Sohnemann auf die Finger hauen müssen, damit nach einer Woche noch ein paar für die Lieblingsomi übrig geblieben sind!!!!

No Easter Egg...

So, will have much more time again to post "News" and Nonsense! The Reason is, I am Jobless again (and just for the papers, Its not my fault)! So, ok, try to see it positive. Have much more time to enjoy the sun, reading, go shopping (without buying anything), do my sports (did'nt liked it to do sports between 8:30 - 9:30 pm) and sit in the sun (its very relaxing, thats the reason I mentioned it twice). And I had the time to calculate the Calories of one "Sponnable Eggs" of Milka, finally. It has 192 Calories. It wont help to pay my bills, but it makes me feel better to know how many Calories I have eaten till yet......

Wohnst du noch, oder lebst du schon?

Tadaaaah, hab mir neue Möbel angeschafft. War echt nötig, meine alten stammten teilweise nich aus meinem Kinderzimmer, waren von IKEA und hatten definitiv ihre betsen Jahre weit hinter sich gelassen.
Und anders als es der Titel vermuten lässt habe ich meine neuen Möbel nich wieder bei Ikea erworben. Aber ich bin sehr zufrieden mit meinem Kauf! Neben einem Sideboard (nicht auf dem Bild) habe ich mir eine Wohnwand angeschafft in Eiche antik (hübsche Farbe) mit folgenden Funktionen:1. Platz für meine Janet Evanovich Kollektion ( umfasst immerhin schon stolze 23 Bände) mit Anschluss an meine genau so verrückten Christopher Moore Bücher (nur 3)

2. Endlich einen sicheren Platz für meinen Bonsai... kein runterschubsen beim Staub saugen mehr möglich....

3. Weitere Krimis! Von Flavia de Luce (Band 3 verliehen) über Vish Puri (warte auf Band 3) bis zu Dr. Siri (wann kommt endlich Band 5?) und Maggie Abendroth (das dauert auch bis da endlich wieder was kommt) beinhaltet dieses Regal auch One Shots.

4. (Auto)- Biografieen von/über Peter Ustinov und Agatha Christie bzw Hercule Poirot und Miss Marple (im Moment in meiner Tasche, weil noch am lesen)

5. Lisa Lutz Reihe... warte auf Vortsetzung

6. Meine Hercule Poirot und Miss Marple DvD Boxen... enthalt auch andere Krimis (The Cats Meow, Der Berlin Express, Gossford Park etc) und zwei ungelesene Agatha Christie Bücher

7. Andere Romane u. a. von Tommy Jaud, Ralf Husmann, Maria Beaumont und Katharina Münk.

8. Immernoch Platz für andere Unsinnigkeiten

So Hello again

Like last year we had to go through the carnivaltime again.
For my Son it wasn't that kind of stressing this time, because he wanted to be a a race driver and for this job you can buy a costumes without any problems. But we were invited to a birthday-carnival Party this weekend. And that means, I hade to wear a costume, too.

So, You know, I hate carnival, all that shitty costumes, cheap and ugly! I just can get a little affection for the Cosplay Scene. The Costumes are mostly very fancifull and you can get some which are looking very high class. I was a little disappionted because those costumes were handmade in China and it needed about 4-5 Weeks to get them. So I had to improvise.
I bought some Chobit ears, a nice gothic bolero, really sweet Gothic Lolita socks and worn my Mint&Berry Dress and a leather waistbelt. I think it looked quite nice and it was a little bit similar to dark Chiis Costume XD but have a look by yourself.

Watn Wetter...

Das is einfach uuunglaublich, am 20. Februar habe ich (zwar dick eingemummelt, aber immerhin) bei strahlendem Sonnenschein auf meinem Balkon gegen 14:30 mein Mittag eingenommen. Und nicht einmal 24 Stunden später also am 21. Februar gegen 10Uhr sah das Wetter dann schon ganz anders aus!

Hello, its the first post in 2012! So: a happy new year!!!

I've got the unique opportunity to visit the Circus Roncalli Christmas Show while there were staying at the Tempodrom in Berlin. I was take along by my friend Daniela and our Kids were joining us at this event! It was really cool! Many Artists, really creative Ideas, but ...no Tigers! Whats up guys? I missed the exotic animals of my youth times, which were shown then in the circus! Ok, there was a quite nice and cute Dog show, but not even Lamas or Camels, I just had a small teardrop in my eye :(
But anyway, it was a cool show and in spite of the contrarious lighting conditions (from a photographers view) a took a few quite nice Photos, so have a look!
